Rare Medium display vessel

Part of the Lava collection

This unique piece is undoubtedly the most interesting of the collection telling the story of the short tailed eagles once prolific presence at Ramla bay.  Not seen now since 1992.

The glazing of  this vessel was inspired by Ramlas red sands and beautiful blue waters so to see the eagle so clearly as it emerged from the kiln was a gift from the kiln gods.
